5 More Lessons that I learned from the World’s Largest Bubble Soccer Game…

Story time! … Since I told a lot of the story of the World’s Largest Bubble Soccer game in Part 1 of Bubble Soccer game (see Part 1, if you need to catch up) I will skip a lot of that and get to the details of the lessons and insights… Here are 5 more lesson’s that I learned while playing in that big game:

The First thing that I learned while running on the field with this giant bubble thing around my upper half of my body was… People are going to run into you and knock you down. (That is just the nature of the game and physic’s.)

BUT, Don’t put your knees on the ground when you fall.. just fall down on the “Bubble” and let the “Bubble” bounce you back up! It saves your knees from “rug burns” or “road rash” (especially, if you have shorts on like I did). Plus, you don’t have to struggle to get back up, and it takes less time to get back into the action of the game.

Second thing is you got to keep moving (for two big reasons). One is that if you stop for too long the Referee will call foul and the numbers will go down for the record books. And Two, you never know when the soccer ball is going to come flying your direction… and it is easier to get a good kick in, if you are already moving forward.

BTW, It is kinda hard to really see where the brightly colored soccer ball is at all times, until it is almost under you, because of the big bubble everyone is wearing around their upper half of their bodies.

Third thing, You don’t have to be a big “influencer” to score a point, or to kick the ball good… You just have to be in the right spot, at the right time, and be moving forward, ready to take the right action when the opportunity arises.

The Fourth lesson is, sometimes when you want to do BIG things, you have to have help from others… sometimes even multiple people that provide the same service/products just to have enough to do the BIG idea.

Note: No one company even had enough bubble soccer units to get the needed amount to get to the Record. They needed multiple companies together to reach it.

The Fifth lesson that I learned was, that you always want people on your side that will cheer you on and help you to make your big and crazy ideas become a reality. There are too many people that will tell you that it can’t be done… don’t be one of them… We need more people who will help figure out ways that things CAN work, even if they haven’t been done before.

Hey, There was a time that people thought that the idea of man flying was a crazy idea… now it’s common for people to fly all over the world.

The Little Secret -

So with life, business, and coaching, (or with playing Bubble Soccer)... the Principles still applies… If you want to do something big… dream bigger, keep moving forward, don’t be afraid to fall down just get back up fast and learn the lessons you can, get good people in your corner to help and cheer you on. Sometimes you need more than one person to help you.

Now that might look differently for different situations. But the concept is the same. It could be done with a lot of different methods like, joining a group, or finding some friends that are interested in supporting or cheering you on, in your ideas, but get people.

For the Big Results -

 Today’s Action Step(s)  
1) Do something that will help you have people that will cheer you along your journey even when it hasn’t been done before or seems big. Usually successful people like encouraging others.

2) And, cheer on others that are doing good stuff that you see. It does help inspire others when people see that you are cheering them on.

 Extra Credit  💯 😄 Reconsider dreaming bigger, while you start taking small actions to get moving forward towards your bigger dream. Keep on, keeping on.
