Lessons I Learned from playing in the World’s Largest Bubble Soccer Game…
(Part 1)

Story time!   One Day… I was Invited to travel 6 hours and play in the World’s Largest Bubble Soccer Game… for the Guinness Book of World’s Records! WOW! That was Fun! And Now I am an Official “Guinness World Record Holder”! Who would have thought that I would ever be one of those?! (Along with 99 others. Someone dropped out before the game was over. But that is for another story.)

To make it even Better… I got to play on the Boise State University Football Field (lovingly called the “Smurf Turf” b/c it is a blue artificial colored Turf, like the Blue Smurfs from the cartoons.)

Why the Game? (Besides the World’s Record…) It was based around building a lot of excitement for a New (Harmon Brother’s) Video Launch for a fast growing SaaS (Software as a Service) Product called “ClickFunnels”_(R)…

The Plan was: Invite a bunch of big Influencers to come play a Huge Bubble Soccer game in Boise, ID… let them become a Guinness World Record Holder, Listen to Gary Vaynerchuk speak, learn about how to make a viral video (from people that charge $500k-Million per video to produce), and Document their journey to their followers/fans, (and oh yeah… share the new ClickFunnels _(R) video with their followers). And thus, launching it, into “Viral” Status overnight and help people know about “ClickFunnels _(R)” via a funny Viral Video.

What a Plan!!! (P.T. Barnum would have been impressed! You know the guy that the movie, “The Greatest Showman”, was based on.)

The Lessons I learned while attending that event were many… but here is a short list of some of them. (Part 1)

• Doing things an Exciting way, is way more Fun!

• Have a thought out Plan, that includes an element of FUN!

• Influencers can get the word out Fast, When they want too!

• It’s important to make others feel important and needed!

• Stacking things in the favor of others (what’s in it for them..) is Very important when getting people to go out of their way for you. But don’t short change yourself… just over deliver on their end.

• Even the “Big Named people” need/want help with things Coaches can help them with.

• Results and Outcomes are Key!

The Little Secret -

So with life, business, and coaching, (or with Bubble Soccer games and viral video launches)... This Principle still applies… We all have knowledge and skills that can help others regardless of how “Big Name” or “small name” they might seem or be… don’t be scared to speak up when the timing is right. And, it is always good to give compliments when starting any conversation with people.

Now that might look differently for different situations. But the concept is the same. It could be done with a lot of different methods like Smiling, Saying Hello, Complimenting someone, or helping someone with something, etc.

For the Big Results -

 Today’s Action Step(s)  
Do something that will start a conversion with someone, uplift them in some little way… Give them a nice reason to have hope again, to have reason or a way to be better.

 Extra Credit  💯 😄 Pick a goal to speak up to someone and say Hello, share a kind word or smile/wave to a stranger. Let’s make this world a little nicer place to live by speaking up and saying “Hi” to others. It’s about getting the goal, not what the goal is.
